Anaplan Architect & Model Builder

 

• Specialize in end-to-end Anaplan implementation for Financial Planning & Analysis, Territory & Quota, Supply Chain Management, Incentive Compensation, and Optimizer modeling.
• Built a Demand Planning/Forecasting model using linear regression to forecast sales of approved products for a life sciences company. Used epidemiological data to model/forecast yet-to-be-approved products as well. Application of optimizer for manufacturing/production was considered but deemed unnecessary.
• Built a Revenue Forecasting model for a Private Equity client, accounting for commitments, contributions, daily interest calculations, returns, both management and incentive fees, and subsequent addition of new funds to their portfolio.
• Architect for Territory & Quota Sales Ops Model for a $22bn “As-A-Service” telecom company.
• Built a Territory & Quota model for Sales Ops to distribute top-down and bottoms-up quota.
• Used Cloudworks to enable automated model snapshots and data loads.
• FP&A Enhancements and Balance Sheet and Cash Flow build for a $2bn consumer goods electronics company.
• Built an accruals model for Clinical and Medical studies for a $150bn Life Sciences company as they moved from Oracle to SAP and re- tooled all their planning models to account for studies represented in both models.
• Built a Compensation Analytics application allowing leadership to review Plan Pay Differentiation, Plan Performance compared to other plans based on their Plan Components, individual Employee Performance, and where the employees sat compared to their peers.
• Provide support as a service to a number of clients for their FP&A and Contract Scenario Planning models.

 

Anaplan Senior Manager

• Managed the entire Anaplan environment across the enterprise.
• Restructured the existing FP&A and Commissions models, built the new Marketing, Sales Ops, and Data Hub models, administrated all models, and negotiated license and workspace costs with Anaplan.

 

2020 Senior Consultant – Solution Architect, Project Manager, Model Builder

• Project Manager / Solution Architect that managed 3 model builders across 3 different projects surrounding Demand Planning, FP&A, Cost Allocation, and Workforce Planning.
• Built a Contract Analytics model for a global pharmaceutical client, incorporating all Brands, Payers, PBMs, and determining Best Price across all Active and Executed contracts, allowing for real-time alert of whether a contract under negotiation will be compliant with government and corporate policy.
• Worked in multiple facets of the pharmaceutical operations, analytics, and forecasting divisions, to create an integrated environment of models, leading to near real-time sharing of data and analysis between Demand Planning, GTN, and Corporate Finance.
• Connected final Demand Planning forecasts to both Net Sales and P&L models.
• Built enhancements around a large scale, multi-division FP&A model, aimed at increasing security and limiting potential for unauthorized adjustments to the B/S, C/F, or overall P&L statements.

Consultant – Finance, Sales & Demand Planning

• Built a “3-Year” forecasting addition to an existing FP&A model for a subscription service startup client.
• Built a demand planning and sales forecasting model for the U.S. subsidiary of a pharmaceutical company and a global beverage provider.
• Built a Monte Carlo proof of concept in Anaplan to allow for basic simulation computation, sensitivity analysis and application of probabilistic distribution types to selected input variables to set parameters during the simulation execution.

 

2019 Business Analyst 

• Generated reporting metrics for CFO monthly and for Procurement SVP on a weekly basis to track variety of business unit processes as well as global spend management.
•   Created dashboards in Tableau and Excel that can pull data directly from SharePoint sites, an Oracle database or other Excel files to provide metrics and visualizations in as near real-time as possible.

Business Analyst – Officer – Business Process Redesign (Full-Time)

• Gathered requirements for process enhancements to Global Compliance’s reporting structure and identified gaps in their reporting structure and made technology recommendations for enhancement to their reporting process based on data gathered.
• Defined KPIs for reporting across Global Compliance and created a process redesign model for future state that would allow for them to be continuously monitored for proper performance.
• Wrote a project proposal for a new hire onboarding process that was projected to save an estimated $2.5 million in lost labor per year.
• Led an organizational redesign and workforce analysis for Corporate Audit, resulting in a restructuring of their group, an implementation of basic technology to better run their business unit, and a savings of over $250,000 in external consulting cost.
• Created automated Alteryx workflows and connected Tableau to provide visualizations of metrics to support client deliverables.

IT Business Analyst (Contractor)

• Managed the approval workflow process and currency conversion validation for the implementation of Beeline at State Street.
• Responsible for cost allocation and cost center validation testing throughout the implementation and pre- and post-go-live phases, including the creation and execution of test scripts, and the management of the defect log.
