Senior Supply Chain Planning Consultant                  September 2011 - Present



Served as the functional/technical lead and subject matter expert in oracle-based JDA (now Blue Yonder) ESP supply chain planning software upgrade of Master Planning, Fulfillment, and Demand from version 7.4 to version 2016;previously lead two additional upgrades

Worked with management and planners to implement system improvements that resulted in improved forecasts and customer-focused purchase, production, distribution, and inventory plans

Developed business processes with cross-functional teams; successfully led process documentation and managed approval efforts through all levels of the business

Managed a complex project to replace plant-printed label stand-alone solutions with enLabel software all US, Canadian, and Latin American plants; Led data analysis and migration; Coordinated label creation and approval for over 1700 labels

Training Developer      

      

This project includes developing training material that will be distributed globally to all JDA Manugistics users.  The training will be presented online with the launch of a JDA Demand and Fulfillment upgrade from version 6 to 7 and Master Planning implementation.


Responsibilites include:


Writing content for ExxonMobil end user JDA training including:

General software training such as navigation, batch processes, and table overviews.

Role-Based training that describes role specific uses and tasks to be performed within Manugistics.  This training instructs planners on how they should perform their job and how the JDA software is used in their daily tasks.  Examples of these roles include Production Planner, Raw Material Planner, and Deployment Planner.

Publishing training material using Power Point, Articulate Presenter, and Adobe Captivate software.


January 2010 to Nov 2010

Fulfillment Functional Lead      

      

This project included an upgrade of JDA Demand and Fulfillment from version 6.14 to version 7.52 as well as the implementation of JDA Master Planning.

Responsibilites include:

Creating all business process documentation related to the upgrade of Fulfillment and the implementation of Master Planning.

Writing all functional specs related to Fulfillment and integrating Master Planning.

Assisting the developers and testing technical development.

Developing and presenting key user training.

Developing a testing plan, testing scripts, and assisting in UAT.

Assisting in post go-live support.

 

Feb 2008 – Apr 2009

Senior Analyst, Manugistics

 

Supported the JDA Manugistics 6.1 application and performed any necessary tasks or enhancements designated by the business.

Created and modified interfaces using Business Objects Data Integrator; Generated ABAP code in Data Integrator and work with SAP ABAP programmers to move the code through development and into production.

Lead a project to incorporate a new business unit into a current VMI production instance of Manugistics.

Used SAP R/3 to validate and test Manugistics interfaces as well as writing specifications and working with programmers to build new programs within SAP.

Supported a major project to co-distribute a number of products, which requires modeling and logic changes to the current replenishment design of Manugistics. 

Assisted with plans to upgrade to version 7; the project was later delayed to 2010. 


May 2005 – Jan 2008

Operations Planning Manager


Responsible for maintaining a 99.0% service level on over 180 Uncle Ben’s items.  Increased Case Fill from 98.6% in 2005 to 99.3% in 2006.  Equipment malfunction caused reduced service levels late in 2007.

Served as a Manugistics Functional Expert for Mars Food US.  Responsible for continuous improvement and issue resolution for the Manugistics 6.0 models.  Worked with a cross-functional team to implement software changes that would allow visibility to in progress inventory at our Canadian locations.

Lead the Manugistics 7.2 Upgrade for the Food business through preliminary design work and testing.  Worked as part of the North American team in order to identify issues and make sure the needs of Mars Food are incorporated in the upgrade.  Was responsible for system testing and the future training of Food associates at further stages in the project.  The project was postponed to 2009 due to lack of resources.

Created weekly service reviews describing factory performance, oversells, and quality issues. 

Developed long term production and inventory plans used for financial and raw material planning. 

Worked closely with six US warehouses to managed culinary inventory.  Organized bi-annual statistical safety stock analyses.  Inventory was decreased inventory by 15% in 2006 and another 12% in 2007.

Created reports showing service levels metrics by brand, aging inventory units, and open orders by item.

Worked closely with the demand planning group to implement Manugistics Demand software.  Worked with the project team to identify and resolve potential issues that would be disruptive to supply.

Analyzed capacity constraints on all production lines and helped plant managers plan crewing.  Helped Operation Managers at the factory justify additional crews or temporary labor.

Organized and led weekly supply meeting with two factories and four co-manufacturers.
