WMS Ecommerce fulfilment enhancement
The project involved increasing the ecommerce packing stations from 20 to an additional 70 parallel packing stations to meet business expectations. This was achieved by sourcing a new sorter whilst integrating the existing IHF (In House Fulfilment) software in parallel mode.
Wholesale fulfilment enhancement
The project brief was to analyse the overall operation of the Wholesale Department, systems usage, order placement, tracking and fulfilment and MIS requirements with the objective of supporting projected growth targets. This was achieved by facilitating workshops conducting interviews with SME’s. The outputs from these allowed both as-is and to-be process flows and a modelled systems solution.

As an Agile Business Analyst on the ecommerce re-platforming project, I was part of the team responsible for authoring use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and non-functional requirements which integrated the existing platform to the new platform. The implementation utilised an ESB architecture using CRUD services. I was responsible for specifying the functional requirements of the services running on the ESB in close consultation with the Solution Architect. In Release terms: -

As Analyst/Developer/Architect I was responsible for the design and build of the Trading Partner Module. The Trading Partner Module is a fully configurable XML data conduit providing clients with the ability to quickly create interface files for EPOS, Concessions, Franchisees, Host Stores and other strategic systems that require data from the main Merchandise Management System. The Trading Partner Module eliminated the need for costly bespoke peer-to-peer interfaces. This was achieved by transforming CRUD data transactions into an XML document using a schema agreed with the Biztalk team.
In conjunction with the above, I was responsible for developing key Stock, Sales & Inventory reports using Business Objects.

Project focus was primarily been around delivering Multi Channel Ecommerce integration solutions. During this time, I delivered Ecommerce website integrations /implementations /upgrades and enhancements for Oasis, Coast, Karen Millen, Warehouse & Bastyan Websites. Additionally, I provided support to the Business Objects MIS team for data sources and where appropriate providing database functions/procedures to streamline the reporting process.
My last role involved analysing the end-to-end processes for Website Orders (Order placed > Customer Receipt).
