PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

                  February 2005 to Present
TSM  ARCHITECT/CONSULTANT


•        Migration from 4.2.2 to 5.2.3 to leverage AIT4 Capacity verus AIT2. Lead person assigned to troubleshoot with  Sony with program debug of tape
write program, making PEER1 first company in the country to successfully implement AIT4. This resulted in the data conversion/elimination of a LTO1
library and DLT library for a more streamlined operations, increased customer satisfaction in restore times.
•        Initial configuration of 5 TSM servers was scaled back from 5 to 4 TSM Servers for 1.5 years. This included the management, administration and
installation of new TSM B/A Client code and break fix repairs. Increased savings on server licenses by reduction and reduced administration and
duplication of administration time during May 2005 until June 2006..
•        Remote/onsite Tivoli Storage Management Administration for 5 TSM Windows 2000 /2003 Servers in Miami and 4 in Atlanta. Provide analysis and
recommendation of existing TSM server configuration.
•        Installation, configuration and problem analysis for 3rd party add on product TSM Manager.
•        Responsible for the training of existing PEER1 Staff in both Miami and Atlanta.
•        Installation and maintenance of upgrade client software, installation of client software patches and server code in the Windows environment.
Analysis of over 1200 client nodes.  This analysis resulted in the increase of from 60 percent success rate to 99.2 success rate currently now at PEER1.
Upgrade of TSM Server/client code from 4.2.3 to the current release of 5.4.1.  
•        Atlanta implementation and rollout of Tivoli Storage Manager in Atlanta Georgia site. Installation and configuration of TSM servers and over 300
Windows client nodes per server.
•        Disaster recovery of two TSM servers in Miami due to RAID failures.
•        Provide documentation and training of company personnel.


      April 2004 to February 2005

TSM  ARCHITECT/CONSULTANT

•        Provide remote/onsite Tivoli Storage Management Administration for 2 Windows 2000 Servers. Provide analysis and recommendation of existing
TSM server configuration
•        Installation, configuration and problem analysis for 3rd party add on product TSM Manager.
•        Responsible for the design and implementation of various Tivoli Data Protection (TDP) Agents, including Exchange in Cluster/Non Cluster
Configurations, Windows Client in a Clustered San Environment, Oracle TDP agents with RMAN. Implementation of Oracle log and Microsoft SQL log
backups
•        Installation and maintenance of upgrade client software, installation of client software patches and server code in the Windows environment.
Analysis of over 200 client nodes.  This analysis resulted in meeting SLA level of 99% backup success rate. Upgrade of TSM Server/client code from 5.1.6
to 5.2.2  
•        Provided analysis of tape storage subsystems and forming recommendations for capacity, density of tape library. Upgrade from 3583 to 3584 LTO
library.
•        Data migation from 3583 to 3584 to increase capacity and standardization of data retention policies.
•        Design and test Disaster Recovery Manager.

Responsibilities included insuring that 1st, and 2nd level support processes were in place for all production client nodes, production TSM servers and
delivery of 2nd level support required to meet all Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) associated with Sea Star Lines.  


                       June  2003 to March 2004

TSM  CONSULTANT

•        Provide Tivoi Storage Management Administration for 5 AIX and 1 Windows based TSM servers located in multiple locations, providing 2nd level
support on 3 of the environments both locally and remotely.
•        Installation, configuration and problem analysis for 3rd party add on product TSM Manager.
•        Responsible for the design and implementation of various Tivoli Data Protection (TDP) Agents, including Exchange in Cluster/Non Cluster
Configurations, Windows Client in a Clustered San Environment, Oracle TDP agents.
•        Installation and maintenance of upgrade client software, installation of client software patches and server code in the Windows environment.
Analysis of over 400 client node.  This analysis resulted in meeting SLA level of 99% backup success rate.
•        In depth analysis of disk and tape storage subsystems and forming recommendations for capacity, density of tape libraries located across multiple
sites. Analysis and recommendation of new hospital client implementations for server, tape and storage subsystems.
•        Implementation, configuration, rollout and training to the Network Operations staff of TSM Manager.  Also, senior team leader for 4 other TSM
administrators locally and remotely.

Responsibilities included insuring that 1st, and 2nd level support processes were in place for all production client nodes, production TSM servers and
delivery of 2nd level support required to meet all Service Level Agreements associated within a MSP hospital environment.

DATA MANAGEMENT ARCHITECT

•        Provided Storage Service Provider capabilities (SSP) for client base.  SAN consisted of multiple client sites utilizing Storage Services over IP.
•        Responsible for the design and implementation from ground up of internal clients using various TDP agents for Exchange, Linux and SQL
databases, as well as system file structures.
•        Day to day administration of Tivoli Management Software, which encompassed Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), based upon a configuration in a
Windows 2000 environment.
•        Developed, managed, and maintained the (third level) support processes and delivery organization to internal and external customers.  
•        Configuration of Windows 2000 servers hosting TSM server, utilizing Hitachi Lightning 9900 Storage Array, along with IBM 3583, in a Fibre Storage
Area Network.
•        Implementation of Remote Data Replication between multiple TSM servers for Disaster Recovery.
•        Support, testing and implementation of TSM corporate server environment.

Responsibilities included insuring that 1st, and 2nd level support processes were in place for all production storage infrastructures and for delivery of
the support required to meet all Service Level Agreements.  Provided managed and maintained, development, test, and production environments.

•        Responsible for the design and implementation from ground up of internal and external storage customers and day to day administration of Tivoli
Management Software, which encompassed Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) and associated TDP agents for various databases on multiple platforms.  
•        Configuration of TSM and Windows 2000 server environment.
•        Developed, managed, and maintained the (third level) support processes and delivery organization to internal and external customers.
•        Design and implementation of Miami SNAP facility and corporate development lab in Boca Raton.
•        Configuration of Windows 2000 servers hosting TSM server, utilizing IBM FastT500 and FastT200 Storage Array, along with IBM 3584, 3583, in a Fibre
Storage Area Network.
•        Implementation of Remote Data Replication between multiple TSM servers for Disaster Recovery.

Web site was operational within six months with over 600 items of merchandise.  This encompassed both shopping cart program capability and online
credit card processing through third part vendor.  Responsibilities included evaluation, purchase and utilization of Personal Computer Productivity Tools.

•        Creation of Web Pages utilizing Microsoft Front Page, canned Java Applets.

•        Provided support for the OS/MVS and Client Server Storage Management Applications.  
•        Storage Management software installation and maintenance.
•        Management liaison between applications and information systems teams in regards to future storage and data needs in regards to development,

•        Responsibilities also included being on  Disaster Recovery Team.  
•        Implementation of Tivoli Storage Manager Version 3.7 on multiple platforms in the St. Pete/Ft. Lauderdale offices .
