Served as the security architect for the Enterprise Systems Application Security group.
Designed and implemented IBM Tivoli Access Manager (TAM) infrastructure for access to Dealer portal.
Designed and implemented IBM Secureway LDAP directory architecture.
Led a small development team that created an LDAP API for developers to gain secure access to the security directory.

Designed and implemented web-based infrastructure for access to the Employee website/portal.

Designed architecture and managed project to bring several major applications into a single sign on (SSO) environment.

Using new technologies and consolidation of functions, the security environment was reorganized to eliminate a third of the hardware. This
generated considerable savings in support and administration costs.

Served as the Tivoli software architect for a $400 million. The project’s purpose was to implement SAP and other applications to manage ship
maintenance for the entire global client infrastructure.
Redesigned existing plans for a worldwide client-based architecture to use a mixture of web-based and remote access technologies. The results
from switching to a web-based architecture were dramatic reductions in implementation and support costs.
To overcome limitations in the web interface of SAP, a secure remote access solution was designed. When it became clear that the market leader
(Citrix) would not be acceptable, a small company (Tarantella) was found whose product would meet those specifications. We worked with the company to
make some key updates, and the solution was accepted.
